North Lime Coffee & Donuts - Clays Mill

We really like their donuts AND coffee. Atmosphere is nice and relaxed and service is quick and friendly. We wish they had more varieties offered daily, but they always have creative varieties that offset the smaller selection. Good sized donuts but at a higher price point that makes it more of an occasional treat than a regular one for us.

As a small business owner and mom, I love this place! Not only are the donuts delicious and a perfect gift or treat for those I love, every time I walk in I feel so welcome. The team members are happy, kind, and hopeful! What else could you want out of a donut shop? We’ll keep coming back!

North Lime Doughnuts on Clays Mill is hands-down the best doughnut shop in Lexington! Conveniently located in the same shopping center as my office, this place is an absolute gem. They open early, so it’s perfect for grabbing a treat to start the day or meeting clients, friends, or family in a cozy, welcoming setting. Their doughnuts are always fresh, with a great mix of classic flavors and unique, seasonal creations that never disappoint. Whether you’re in the mood for something traditional or adventurous, North Lime has something for every taste. The atmosphere is laid-back and friendly, making it a great place to hang out and enjoy quality doughnuts. It’s awesome that North Lime also has another Lexington location and two in Louisville, so you can get your fix in multiple spots. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by and treating yourself. North Lime Doughnuts is easily a five-star spot!

11/4/24 My husband and I Tried this donut shop for the first time, as we’ve been on a donut kick lately, but sadly, it didn’t live up to our expectations. The donuts were overly dense and saturated with a thick, sugary coating that was just too much. Couldn’t finish even one without desperately needing a drink to wash it down. The staff were friendly and the ambiance was casual, perfect for nomadic people. Unfortunately, not a place we’d come back to.
