Crema's Take

This beloved French bakery outpost executes the classics with impressive precision, earning particular praise for their croissants and kouign amann that stand up to some of Seattle's most celebrated competitors. The pastry selection is more curated than expansive, but what they do offer—from buttery laminated doughs to their house specialty cruffins—demonstrates a real commitment to quality over quantity. You'll find the service warm and welcoming, making it an easy stop for a quick coffee and impeccable pastry on your way through the day.

I’m a big fan of this chain. This specific location doesn’t hold as much of choice of pastries but those available were great. Warm and friendly service too.

the kouign amann was absolutely INCREDIBLE, berries and cream cruffin and the chocolate croissant were also so amazing!! the (decaf) latte i got was a bit on the acidic/sour side. would absolutely happily come back here!! really want to try their almond croissant and their other baked goods!!

I got a breakfast box and took the croissants to a croissant tasting! Combined with their sister store up north, they would have won! But this location was just shy of 1 point against Bakery Nouveau. I may be biased because I was able to talk to the owner and genuinely mindblown on how well the croissants stayed flakey, buttery, and fluffy throughout the day. They looked like stock photo croissants. Probably up there as one of the best in Seattle and will definitely visit again!

So excited that Petit Pierre opened a location here! I stopped by on a weekday and got a plain croissant. Truly one of the best in the city. It's a bit dangerous for me that it's so nearby now 😂. Though we're entering the rainy season now, the partner shop has cute outdoors seating area and a nice vibe too. I would love it if the menu, hours, etc were updated online in the future for this location specifically since I believe the selection at this location is more limited 🙏

A good bakery is good because of its selection. An exceptional bakery is good because of its basics. And Petit Pierre truly does justice to the spirit of french bakeries! The bread is immaculate! Light crunch, soft, lovely chew and a delicious bready flavor. The butter is superb and compliments the flavor of the bread beautifully. I got the parisian sandwich and it is exactly how I imagined it would be were I back in Paris! Update: I went back to try a pastry (almond croissant) and it was exemplary! Beautifully laminated pastry with a flaky crunch and soft interior with a filling that didn’t ooze out but held place with lovely almond flavor. Every bite was as good as the last and affirmed my 5 star rating!
