Doxa Coffee Co.

Crema's Take
“Doxa Coffee is an espresso-focused gem that pulls shots with real precision, earning praise for bright, fruit-forward flavors like cherry and apple with none of the harsh bitterness you might expect. Beyond the excellent coffee itself, this spot hits that sweet spot between quick grab-and-go convenience and a comfortable loft space where you can actually settle in, plus they're making their own vanilla syrup and offering homemade food—all just minutes off I-75, making it a genuinely worthwhile stop rather than just another highway coffee run.”

I’m reviewing the espresso. Very good espresso within the “Other Fruit” category on the coffee flavor wheel. Probably cherry and apple undertones. The coffee is not bitter nor sour. But not necessarily sweet like caramel or maple. The aftertaste is a little different, but I can’t say what it is; but not bad. If you’re traveling on I-75 it’s definitely worth the trip away from the exit for this coffee.
If you’re a coffee lover looking for quality and atmosphere, Doxa Coffee Co. is well worth a visit. This specialty coffee shop is committed to great taste and service! Recently was able to try this place working remotely for a couple hours. Really enjoyed the coffee atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the modern industrial vibe and welcoming staff make you feel right at home. Very home like with families, students, remote workers all working away. Didn’t try their avocado toast, paninis or other food, but the basic vanilla latte was fantastic. Doxa is a perfect stop for coffee lovers in the Alachua/Gainesville area—and a must-try if you’re exploring local cafés with personality.
Highly recommend for locals, or anyone traveling on I-75 looking for a quick stop that’s actually worth it. We had an Americano and a latte made with their homemade vanilla syrup—both were fantastic. The avocado toast was also a standout. Such a great local coffee shop.
Iced latte was delicious. Convenient location and modern, comfortable dining area. Loft space for more privacy. There was no food as advertised but likely sold out since we visited later in the afternoon. Friendly staff and would come back here again. Recommend.
This is one gem of a coffee shop; conveniently located just a few mins off i75 offering a homey atmosphere, good vibes, and delicious coffee and food. Sam was personable and knowledgeable giving me some background info on their cold brew after I mentioned how much I loved the flavor. I couldn’t decide on what to eat so I ordered toast with jam & butter which turned out to be amazing. This place was the perfect pit stop!
