We absolutely love going to Beards and Braids whether it’s for a relaxed breakfast or just a great cup of coffee. Everything always tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and you can truly tell they care about quality. The baristas are wonderful, and the service is consistently warm, attentive, and professional. It’s one of those places that just feels good to walk into. Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious food, excellent coffee, and top-notch service.

Strong contender for best coffee shop in Steamboat. Excellent coffee: great drip, great espresso, great foam, wide selection and options. Espresso pulled well and then poured with perfectly foamed milk is glorious, and they do it well. Excellent food: great pastries, great snacks, good breakfast and lunch options. Their breakfast sandwich was next-level delicious. Excellent service: attentive and helpful, but not overly so. Excellent space: there’s good amount of seating, but it fills up quickly. This place is a gem and the people know it. Treat it well please.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! This cafe might have a little sign, but it has huge personality and AMAZING vibes! Ethically sourced quality coffee. ☕️ Fresh baked goods. Delicious sandwiches and cocktails. 🍸 An incredible staff with outstanding guest service…What’s not to love?!? ❤️ Add a bunch of beautiful live plants hanging around the place and you have a recipe for the perfect morning and wonderful afternoon. 🪴 They even have free WI-FI for those remote work days when you just need to get out of the house and enjoy a pick me up latte and scone. They offer gluten free and vegan options as well! The staff is awesome. Super friendly and always happy to help answer questions with 5 ⭐️ service! The manager Hannah is exceptional, as her staff is always there to greet you with a smile and brighten your day ☀️ You truly feel a sense of welcome and belonging at this little cafe. Liz, Jackie and Ethan make the team even better with their attention to detail and creativity, as new drinks and fun local events happen throughout the year. Did I mention they offer catering orders?? Well they do! Lots of seating options in the shop and plenty of sunshine in the mornings. Pro tip: try the Azteca with an extra shot and and some Carmel 😎 Be sure not to miss the opportunity to visit this beautiful cafe in downtown Steamboat and make memories that last a lifetime. Beard and Braid is hands down my favorite coffee shop in Steamboat. The staff is incredibly friendly and always greets me by name, which instantly makes it feel welcoming and personal. The coffee is consistently delicious, and it’s the kind of place you actually want to linger. I hold most of my work meetings here, meet friends for coffee dates, and often pop in just because I know I’ll leave feeling better than when I walked in. Great coffee, great people, and a true community spot. So grateful to have this place in town.

This is my favorite coffee shop in steamboat!! The pastries are incredible and the drinks are too. for the year round menu, the flat white or cappuccino are top notch and their seasonal lattes are great too!
