Crema's Take
“Tucked into The Village, this modern coffee shop strikes a rare balance between energetic workspace and leisurely retreat, with a sophisticated dark-and-light aesthetic that feels both classy and approachable. The espresso-focused menu and carefully executed pour overs earn genuine praise, while the abundance of seating and solid pastry selection make it equally suited for a quick morning run or a lingering work session with excellent cold brew and breakfast.”

I stopped by Buzz & Bustle Coffee & Bodega at The Village and it ended up being one of the best coffee shop experiences I’ve had in Dallas. The atmosphere is amazing modern, relaxed, and perfect whether you want to work, read, or just enjoy a quiet meal. I ordered a sandwich with chips and an iced coffee, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The sandwich was packed with quality ingredients and grilled perfectly, and the iced coffee was smooth and refreshing. You can tell they care about the quality of what they serve. What really makes this place stand out is the environment. There’s plenty of comfortable seating, people studying, reading, and having conversations, and it just has a really welcoming community vibe. It’s the kind of spot where you can easily sit for a while and not feel rushed. If you’re in Dallas and looking for a coffee shop that has great food, good coffee, and an awesome atmosphere, this is definitely a place worth checking out. I’ll definitely be coming back.
I don’t know how I missed this coffee place until know. I am glad I now discovered it. We visited on a Monday morning and it was unexpectedly very crowded with people working or studying with their laptops. Pretty large space and suitable to work. Next time I’ll bring my laptop to stay longer. Their coffee was delicious and latte art was really artsy. I’ll also bring my friends ro this lovely cafe!
I came here in the morning after staying at the Drey Hotel on a work trip, and spent about a half hour enjoying my coffee and checking emails. I ordered a cold brew with oat milk and “overnight oats.” The baristas were friendly and service was prompt. The cold brew was delicious—smooth, bold, and definitely highly caffeinated (I couldn’t even finish the whole thing). The oats, though, were weird! They were literally just oats in a plastic cup soaked in water (and not enough water if you ask me) with a little separate container on top holding some apple compote. The texture was dry, clumpy, and kind of slimy, so I chucked them. Keeping the bodega theme, maybe you could just sell instant oatmeal cups like the Bob’s Red Mill brand instead? They last a long time since they’re just a shelf-stable product, they taste good, and and you could just add hot water for the customers when they purchase. I appreciate the airy space with lots of natural light (plus cool chandeliers!) and the thoughtful division of the large room with mid-century modern furniture. It definitely matches the whole vibe of The Village. Lots of 20 and 30-something’s chatting and working on laptops. I’ll definitely return for the coffee when I’m in the area again!
This spot is located in a nice, easy going area with a few other shops around. There's plenty of seating inside and outside, although the inside was pretty packed. The drinks are very mediocre, but extremely pricey. Each drink was $7.50, for the most bssic coffee with some cocoa powder on top and a soda wirh energy drink mixed in. Nothing else looked tempting enough to try so didn't bother to order anything other than their overpriced drinks. Service was very average, too, so there's not much they got going here to want to have people coming back.
This is a cool place in the Village. I really didn't know the best way to describe it except that the atmosphere was so cool. Dark and light, classy. The coffee was fantastic, and the service was great. I recommend it for anyone looking for a spot.
