Crema's Take

Covour draws crowds for good reason: their matcha is exceptional enough to impress dedicated enthusiasts, and their locally-made small batch pastries—like the raspberry pistachio creation mentioned by regulars—are worth the wait. The spacious interior invites you to linger over your drink, whether you're ordering their specialty creations or a traditional espresso, and the thoughtful service (like remembering regulars' preferences without asking) keeps people coming back to this Santa Clara gem.

First time here and definitely will not be the last! So impressed by the wonderful service from Colby and their goodies are made locally small batch! Couldn’t resist but get the raspberry pistachio croissant! Plenty of spacious seating here and lots of natural light that comes in.

Covour is a nice coffee shop located in Palo Alto, offering ample indoor seating. The store is spacious for a coffee shop and provides a variety of options, including coffee, latte, matcha, and an assortment of pastries. The interior is clean and well-maintained, making it an ideal spot for a quick work session outside the house. Upon arrival, the shop was quite busy, but the line moved quickly. The menu features numerous coffee preparations, similar to other coffee shops. Covour also offers seasonal drinks depending on the time of year. One standout menu item is matcha, which seems to be a staple in every coffee shop I have visited recently, except for a few specialty shops that exclusively serve coffee and tea. During our visit, we ordered a croissant, pandan mochi, latte, matcha, and Spanish latte. The drinks were enjoyable, and the pandan mochi was particularly interesting as it was my first time trying it. Overall, it was a pleasant visit, and I look forward to returning in the future.

stopped by this coffee shop on a Sunday morning, and it was unbelievably crowded. I honestly haven’t seen such a long line outside a coffee shop , especially one without any celebrity hype or special attraction ; so I’m still not entirely sure what makes it that popular. Somehow, I managed to get inside and even found myself a small table, which felt like a small victory given the crowd. They don’t seem to restrict laptop use, although you can clearly see many people waiting for tables while others are working or lingering . so expect a busy atmosphere. I ordered a mocha along with two breakfast pastries. One was a cream cheese croissant topped with everything seasoning, which was very unique and something I had never tried before. It leaned savory, and the crunchy everything seasoning added a really nice texture and depth of flavor , definitely a standout. The second was a maple walnut scone, mildly sweet with a lovely nutty crunch. It wasn’t overly sugary, and the balance between maple sweetness and walnut texture worked really well. The coffee itself was good , solid but nothing extraordinary. I had hoped to try some other menu items like avocado toast, but they weren’t serving it at the time, possibly due to the heavy crowd. Overall, it’s clearly a very popular spot with a lively atmosphere and a wide selection of pastries. Worth a visit if you enjoy busy café vibes and good baked goods.

Amazing matcha quality, coming from a matcha enthusiast. They didn’t ask if I want it sweetened, which was perfect for me because I like no sweetener. But probably request that if you want it. The line was very long when I went on a Saturday afternoon and I was there for around 45 minutes total. Well worth it, because I will be back!

A coffee shop I’d definitely recommend! I came in on a Sunday morning around 9 a.m., and the baked goods were still plentiful—which was a pleasant surprise, since weekends usually mean everything sells out fast. We ordered a chocolate chip cookie, a pistachio–raspberry croissant, a Madagascar vanilla latte, and a honey latte, totaling around $38. Both coffees were fantastic. The specialty flavors had real depth, so expect a full, well-developed flavor profile rather than something overly sweet. The croissant was perfect—not too sweet, baked beautifully, and just flaky enough.
