Crema's Take
“Smalls is a charming neighborhood gem in Westbrook where thoughtful service and creative touches define the experience—think baristas who'll help you discover unexpected flavor combinations like coriander rose lattes. The intimate, stylish space draws a loyal crowd of regulars seeking excellent small-plate breakfasts and standout sandwiches (the mortadella is a clear favorite), making it equally perfect for a solo work session or catching up with friends over really good coffee.”

We came to get some coffee, and some sandwiches. The counter girl with brown hair was so sweet and helpful. I picked a really yummy syrup to add into my latte (maybe coriander rose?) and got the breakfast sandwich with a caeser salad. Yum yum yum.
A really cute spot for lunch! Store was adorable and clean. Drinks and food were okay, mortadella sandwich was our preference over the two but the staff was super friendly offering recommendations and tastings!
Great little spot near downtown. Definitely a local spot many regulars stoping in just a laid back friendly atmosphere. Great small plate dishes for breakfast lunch. Small intimate set up like going to your own kitchen with friends. Pull up a seat at the bar and watch them prepare you food. Such great friendly staff. Little shop in the back selling coffee kitchen goods and unique items.
I had a wonderful experience at this coffee shop! The interior design and decor create such a stylish and cozy atmosphere — perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The grilled cheese was absolutely delicious, perfectly crispy and comforting. While the hot chocolate was good, it was a bit on the average side. The customer service was giving mixed feelings, the Barista guy Tyler looked like he was ready to go home but the guy making the food Matthew I believe was very nice and engaging appropriately with customers. I’ll definitely be back for more!
Great food, great atmosphere, great service - my favorite place I dined at the whole weekend. Our hosts were attentive, insightful, and easy to talk to. The restaurant itself was so cute and full of character, with an incredible selection of snacks and drinks as it's also a store and cafe! Hello?! The oysters were sourced locally (of course) and only $1.50 each! They were both sizeable and flavorful. I was quite pleased. The gem caesar salad was delish, and the marinated warm olives with lemon rind zest were incredible. Our only mistake was not coming during the day when we could've tried some of their baked goods. The hosts were kind enough to let us try one of their earl grey cookies, which cemented the fact that I really goofed up because it was a delightfully yummy snack. Did I mention we saw a rainbow? Yeah, this place rules. Will definitely return when I'm back in the state!
