Crema's Take

Nirvana Coffee Co. is a beloved Cape destination with a genuinely cozy, "stay a while" atmosphere that keeps locals coming back as their first and last stop. Beyond solid traditional coffee, they shine with creative signatures like their excellent dirty chai and thoughtfully composed breakfast sandwiches (the sausage, pesto, and cheese combo is a standout), plus an impressive array of syrups and pastries that justify the slightly higher price point. The friendly staff and inviting vibe make it the kind of place where you actually want to linger, whether you're meeting a friend or settling in for a quiet morning.

Always my first and last stop when coming to the Cape. Dirty chai is excellent! The breakfast sandwich: sausage, pesto, and cheese is perfection on their griddle. There is almost always a line and they work as quickly as they can, very friendly.

Ambiance was very nice! It has a cute, home, “stay a while” vibe! Many options for coffee, pastries, and merchandise. The coffee itself in the Cookies n Crème latte was not very strong - could have had more espresso and cookie flavors. Good cappuccino.

Here, you will find yourself in a truly quaint little café nestled within the heart of the historic downtown district of Barnstable. Nirvana Coffee Co. offers a variety of delicious treats, including vegan and gluten-free baked goods, for those sourcing these options. As well as plenty of lattes/coffee drinks to choose from. The counter staff are friendly and happy to make beverage suggestions, shall you feel indecisive in regards to what to order. My spouse and I ordered a pistachio and Mayan Moka latte. We immensely enjoyed our coffee experience here. The tone really sets the calmness of ambiance here. Time drifted by us while sitting at the counter tables in front of the window facing the outside to the picturistic courthouse. We ended up chatting with friendly locals seated next to us and were whisked away in good conversation to what felt like simpler times. This cafe is a true gem on the Cape not to be missed.
