Good coffee and the breakfast was decent. Clean place. It was not bad but not great. I would give it another shot to see if something stands out next time.
This was our first time at PJ’s so we wanted to try a few different things. My wife got a cappuccino and I got the frozen pralines and cream. We also ordered 3 beignets to try. It was a Saturday morning and they kept up pretty well with the orders. The beignets were warm and covered in powdered sugar. We were a little disappointed as we thought if we dined inside we would get coffee mugs and plates like we saw in the pictures but when we asked they had some paper plates so it’s OK I guess. The coffee a food was delicious so 5 stars for that… a little disappointed for the experience as it’s just another coffee shop and nothing special. Definitely would go back for the coffee.
Edit: Apparently they’ve stopped offering beignets through DoorDash. So that sucks. I really loved this place. The beignets are great depending on the time of day you order. The coffee is great to depending who made it. I have absolutely delicious orders, and orders that were terrible with watered down coffee. I also only order on DoorDash because I’m a stay at home mom who doesn’t have a car during the day. But for some reason now after summer, beignets are only offered randomly. This week they weren’t offered at all. I’m mad about that because I was craving them this week. Last week Friday I tried and they weren’t there. Sometimes it’s just random days were you can order them can’t. I feel like NOT selling the food that makes you a New Orleans coffee shop is quite dumb to be honest.
The choices are unique in especially that it features that of New Orleans style coffees in Texas . The ambiance is a little bland and plain , in that it's just classic white. Strong suggestions of more pictures of say like streets of New Orleans and Bourbon Street or like statues of Mardi gras style clown or like location pictures across Louisiana and your other PJs state locations. I had the cappuccino and beignets , it was quite delicious , I would recommend serving the beignets on regular plates . The coffees offered set themselves apart from competition (see menu of picture I took) , being unique in that it's New Orleans style coffees vs everyone else . I enjoyed their coffees and beignets other than that I would recommend.☕🥐,
The place is clean and organized. The people are very friendly and attentive. I ordered a Pumpkin Late and it was very good. I paired it with a sandwich, which was also delicious. I recommend it.
