Crema's Take

This intimate espresso-focused spot in Key West has earned loyal devotion from visitors who return every morning of their trips, drawn equally to the carefully crafted Cuban double shots and the genuinely warm hospitality of staff like Heidi. Perched right by the seaport with outdoor bench seating that offers a peaceful escape from the island's bustling streets, Gator Joes pairs excellent specialty coffee and divine pastries with an unhurried atmosphere that makes it feel less like a quick caffeine stop and more like finding your favorite local refuge, even if you're just visiting for a few days.

Small little place with tasty coffee. You got to try the Cuban double shot espresso.

Heidi was absolutely wonderful! She so kind, welcoming, and attentive! The pastries were simply divine, and the coffee was out of this world. She made sure we had a delicious and satisfying breakfast before heading off on our Danger Charter snorkeling adventure. Thank you, Heidi, for such a fantastic start to our day! Highly recommend especially over other coffee & cafes in the area! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Super cute little coffee shop right by the cruise ships. We stopped here after disembarking in great need of caffeine and maybe a baked good. I got their Irish cream iced coffee which tasted fresh and the flavoring was spot on. I also got the cheese danish which I highly recommend. It was huge, cheesy, and glazed everywhere! What more could you ask for in a danish?
