Crema's Take

El Gaucho Deli Cafe brings authentic Peruvian flavors to Estero with standout pastries and satisfying breakfast fare that keeps locals coming back—their generously stuffed empanadas and legendary pan con chicharrón are the real stars. The café strikes that rare balance of being both a quick grab-and-go spot and a destination worth lingering in, especially under its recently revitalized management that's elevated an already solid operation into something genuinely special. It's the kind of place that cuts through the noise of chain restaurants with genuinely fresh, flavorful food served in a warm, family-friendly setting.

Cute café with Peruvian cuisine. Open daily for breakfast & lunch until 5pm. Had the empanadas which were very good and stuffed generously. They also have a bakery case filled with goodies to take home.

So happy to see El Gaucho Inca Deli under new management! The food and service were always good, but now it honestly feels like it’s on a whole new level. I had a green juice and a mocha latte to start and both were so good. The juice tasted super fresh and the mocha was rich without being overly sweet. I ordered an omelette and loved that I could fully customize it. It came out perfectly cooked and the portion size was great. The chorizo empanada was delicious, crispy on the outside and full of flavor. The chori pan with chimichurri sauce was insanely good. So flavorful and satisfying. We also tried the breakfast burrito and it was fire. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. You can really feel the difference with the new ownership. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot. I’ll definitely be back!

This place is great. In a sea of the thousands of bland, chain, taste-free restaurants that seem to keep multiplying in southwest Florida, this place stands out for its flavorful food, fresh ingredients, and cheerful staff. This business clearly takes pride in its work, and is a great place for a filling breakfast or lunch. And for a festive dinner, the full-service restaurant is just a few doors down. Highly recommended.

Very cute place. The Diego sandwich was good flavor (and huge), though the bread was a little over done and hard. The fries were cold and stale. The avocado toast was decent but very plain, just avocado on toast - it had a little bit of seasoning at least. Service was slow but prices were reasonable. I would come back but would try something else probably.
