Yesterday on 2/13/26 at around 8:30 am, I showed up to place an order for the valentines donuts. I was told to order online through their website. So are 8:37 I placed my order for a dozen. The earliest pick up time available was 2pm for 2/14/26. Fast forward to the next day. I show up around 830 am to see if I could pick up my order early and was directed that I had to come back at 2pm for the pick up time of my order. I come back at 2 pm and was told they can’t fill my order because they don’t have anymore. I was taken back because I figured by ordering online that they would have my order set aside since it was ordered online. I was then told that my order just came in at 2pm. I informed the nice lady that I placed it at 8:37 am yesterday. I was then told the system must have been down. I told the nice lady again that the people working this morning saw my order perfectly fine this morning when I tried to pick up in the morning. They end up calling the manager. After a few moments the nice lady tell me the manager says I need to call “DoorDash” to get a refund. I inform them that I didn’t order through door dash , i ordered through the website like the staff told me to yesterday. I ended up getting a refund but after being up there 3 times and going through the effort to create an account, I have felt like I was being dismissed. The refund didn’t even include the tip amount that they request on the website when placing an order. Receiving a refund doesn’t make things right when you paid for a service to be completed and was told to come back at 2pm for your order just to be told in more ways than one “ better luck next time” or “ too bad, so sad”.

Rude customer service every time I come. They always give me the wrong kolache when I order a jalepeno they give you a regular instead, I guess they don’t have anything marked inside and are just taking a guess. Tried to order a filled bar barvarian exactly as it’s called on the app and the rude employee from the start with red hair gave me the wrong donut and tried to say i basically said the wrong name. They have filled bar barvarian and a Bavarian filled. I said “ can I get a filled bar Bavarian” clearly. Then when I said this wasn’t what I ordered and was trying to get a refund I wasn’t even angry I just wanted the donut I am paying for she cuts me off and says she can’t do exchanges or refunds because she “doesn’t know how” and just stares at me 🤦‍♀️. They either need to change the names since they’re too similar or teach their employees about customer service and how to do their job. You’re at work, no one cares if you don’t like your job just do it - properly.

I had way high expectations but no, The “sausage kolaches” are just a mini hot dog wrapped in sliced Kraft cheese in a hot dog bun dough. Not sausage AT ALL. the jalapeños were inconsistently sliced and placed so you either got a bite with 4 jalapeños or a bite with none. Not worth $3 each. Donuts are good but very basic flavors and nothing spectacular. Also the employees need to speak enough English to ask questions about allergies. Both employees there Didn’t understand a word I said when I asked about possible contact with peanuts, shellfish, dyes, or anything. So since they also don’t mention anything about allergies in their website either, I won’t be going back.

This is the best Shipleys I've been to! Super nice staff with amazing customer service! We had them cater our wedding, and they went out of their way to make our order extra special! The donuts are always fresh and delicious!
