Coalescence Coffee

Spacious, clean, and modern. My drink order came out quick and the layout is super chill. I ended up reading through a whole book here. The puppy yoga is also done here and it was cute to see them run around.

The coffee itself was excellent, but it was quite expensive for the overall experience. The bagels were underwhelming in quality, and partnering with a local baker could be a great improvement. Unfortunately, customer service was a consistent issue. I visited twice, and on a separate occasion my husband stopped in on his own. All three experiences left us feeling unwelcome, and he has since said he would not return due to the service alone. While the coffee was genuinely good, the atmosphere felt rushed and dismissive, similar to what I’ve experienced at some coffee shops in San Diego, where customers seem like an inconvenience rather than valued patrons.

It is such a joy to have a coffee shop in walking distance that enjoys pets. Also, the double chocolate pastry is amazing (not pictured because it was eaten so fast).

This is NOT your average coffee shop. This is the real deal for those who are serious about quality coffee. The location is off the main path and parking can be a challenge, but overcome those obstacles is worth the effort.

I visited Coalescene and had such a great experience! The space is big, clean, and bright with a modern industrial feel - fun vibes with people working on laptops or chatting. The barista, Tony, was super helpful in recommending the perfect coffee for us, and we even picked up some beans to enjoy at home. Because of the large purchase, they treated us to a free drip coffee, which was such a nice touch! I love how inclusive the environment is. They even have a cozy corner with toys, Montessori play sets, and children’s books, which makes it family-friendly too. Street parking is available nearby. Overall, an amazing place - I’ll definitely be coming back! There’s also a venue-like space at the back of the coffee shop. and I noticed people working in office-style areas with their laptops. It’s such a versatile spot - whether you’re looking for a place to work, grab a coffee, or catch up with friends, Coalescene has it all.
