“Caramel's handmade macarons and éclairs are the real draw here—crispy shells, silky fillings, and flavors that rotate with the season—though consistency can be uneven and the service feels inconsistent for a place that charges premium prices. The space works perfectly for lingering over a specialty drink and pastry if you catch a staff member in a good mood, but you're really coming for the French pastry craftsmanship, not the hospitality.”

Every time I visit Salem, I always stop by Caramel. Their staff is always amazing. Their pastries are delicious! I always leave with a box of macarons to take a little bit of Caramel home with me. 10/10 would highly recommend!!

Macarons are hit or miss.. pumpkin ones were perfect. Light smooth texture on the cake bits, and nice flavorful creamy center. Also tried the raspberry and birthday cake which were just .. ok... Tiramisu was a good mid grade. May hit up another bakery in the area next time.
