Crema's Take

Sour Kid Cafe is a family-run gem that's channeling decades of sourdough expertise from its neighboring Michael's Sourdough into exceptional breakfast sandwiches built on impossibly thin, crispy-chewy bread paired with fluffy egg and spicy mayo. Their iced lattes are legendary throughout Marin, and they're pulling shots from beloved Andytown Coffee, creating a morning destination where the owner's genuine warmth and the quality of every component—from the bread to the espresso—makes this feel less like a quick grab and more like a ritual worth returning for.

Spot is lethal and owner is an absolute gem. It’s awesome to see a family legacy carry through from Michael’s Sourdough to Sour Kid Cafe. Best breakfast sandwiches in Marin!

Excellent egg sandwich. Bread is thin, crispy and chewy with a nice sourdough flavor. Egg patty is fluffy and the spicy mayo has a nice kick. Coffee from Andytown is the cherry on top. 10/10!!!

The Sour Kid Cafe is my go to place for breakfast sandwiches and coffee. I mean it when I say that they have the best iced lattes that I've had in Marin and SF! The breakfast sandwiches are served on sourdough (famous Michael sourdough!) My Go To Order: •Avocado, egg, and cheddar sandwich 10/10 •Sausage, egg, and cheddar sandwich 10/10 •Iced lattes 10/10 Another reason I love going to the Sour Kid cafe is for the friendly customer service and atmosphere too!

Was trying to snap a pic of the menu and it was funny to catch the happy worker - didn't know until he told me that Michael's Sourdough next door is part of the family business. Very good vibes and happy to come back. Please let me know if I should remove the photo, it was too good to not post. 🙂
