Crema's Take
“Go Get Em Tiger pulls off the tricky balance of being both a serious espresso destination and a welcoming neighborhood breakfast spot, where you can grab a perfectly pulled SO espresso or settle in with a bacon breakfast burrito and pour over coffee. The team moves with impressive efficiency even during the morning rush, getting fresh, quality food and thoughtfully made drinks into your hands quickly without feeling hurried. While some regulars wish for a bit more warmth in the farewell, the genuine rapport and enthusiasm from staff make this a place worth the visit, especially if you're hunting for that rare cafe that executes both the coffee and the food equally well.”

They have good coffee and the baristas are usually pretty nice. I’ve started to notice that they will almost never thank you for coming by. It’s become a weird pet peeve of mine. Biggest issue is their coffee cups! Very dangerous. I’ll hold it and with the slight pressure POP! The lid comes flying off and then the contents are ready to burn your hands! I’ll place it in my cup holder of my car and if I try to lift it out lid comes off supper easily. I hope at some point they get better cups without a burn incident!
Visited this morning. Rapport from staff was kind and enthusiastic. I'd recommend the bacon breakfast burrito with green sauce. It wasn’t huge, but fresh, and great quality. The mocha with almond milk (they only have almond-macadamia) was like icy, watery chocolate milk with little flavor, 90% of which was macadamia. This was one of my least favorite mochas I've had in LA, and it wasn't close to filled to the top. See my pic after taking only a small sip. No disrespect, but the cookie was disgusting. I went in the morning, and it tasted several days old. They should have been taken out of the case, not sold. The bill was $30 not very well spent. Note that if you sit inside, the volume is loud, but I didn’t mind. They have outdoor seating which is high-demand, but a relaxing vibe.
came from far to try this coffee! it’s truly amazing, i got the B&P, ice honey matcha, and “the green eggs no ham.” food was super filling and the drinks were top notch!!! the SO espresso blew my mind and the matcha was so smooth. literally worth the hype if you’re a coffee lover :)
it was a delightful breakfast experience. The menu offered a fantastic variety of breakfast options, and I couldn't resist trying their breakfast burritos, granola, and eggs on toast. Let me tell you, each dish was a culinary masterpiece. The breakfast burritos were packed with flavor and filled to perfection. The combination of ingredients created a delightful blend of savory goodness that left me craving more. The granola was a delightful surprise, with a delightful crunch and a mix of textures that was simply irresistible. Accompanied by fresh fruit and yogurt, it made for a wholesome and satisfying breakfast choice. The eggs on toast were a true delight. The eggs were cooked to perfection, with a golden yolk that oozed deliciousness when I cut into it. The toast was perfectly toasted, providing a satisfying crunch with every bite. It was a simple yet wonderfully executed dish. Overall, my experience at Go Get Em Tiger was exceptional. The quality of the food, the friendly staff, all contributed to a memorable breakfast outing. I can't wait to return and explore more of their mouthwatering menu. If you're looking for a fantastic breakfast spot, I highly recommend giving Go Get Em Tiger a visit.
My husband and I were worried about stopping in because the cafe looked very busy. However, we were taken care of swiftly with all of our food and drink arriving around ten minutes or less after ordering. Definitely not a bad wait time for how busy they seemed to be. I got an almond macadamia milk cappuccino. I had to get decaf for health reasons, and the espresso tasted like it could have been tightened up a little bit, but decaf espresso can be hit or miss. The milk was excellent and the food was delicious. Waffle was light yet crispy and my breakfast sandwich was very flavorful. All of the employees we interacted with were so friendly and personable. Overall, we had a really great experience.
