Foxtail Coffee UTC Sarasota

I hit no tip as I walked up, place my order & pickup up my drinks. I noticed a 20% tip added onto my order. I walked back in and told one of the girls and she said, "Sorry, You must not of hit no tip." and gave me a dumb no one is home look. I said I did hit the No Tip and even if someone doesn't hit no tip you just add on a 20% tip? 🤬🤬 Sorry but I over paid for the drinks and did all the work. Just like Mc Donald's you did not serve me. Pissed I asked for the manager. The manger said he would credit my account. Oh I will be watching my account!!

If you get a 16 oz coffee, be prepared to just receive 3/4 full cup. The latte was ok. Not smooth and creamy; it had too many bubbles. I did ask them to make it a certain way but they did not fulfill my request. I have visited Foxtail coffee shops in DC, and they were much better.

Not gonna lie, I don’t get the low ratings. Foxtail Coffee Co. was solid. The spot is clean, looks nice, and it’s in the perfect location to grab a coffee and wander around/shopping. Staff was cool too greeted me right away and made it easy. I kept it simple and ordered a regular latte (that’s the real test), and yeah… it was legit. Medium roast, a little fruity vibe, tasted smooth, and it was made right. I was impressed.

The croissant 🥐 was not fresh and the matcha 🍵 tea was too sweet, and don’t get me wrong I love sweet but it was too much. Service was good and after one reaching out about not fresh croissant he gave a refund. Maybe next time I will just go for simple stuff like regular tea because the location and inside look good. I didn’t put 1 star cz I thought they deserved more and they can easily improve. Thanks

Foxtail Coffee is a pleasant escape from the crowds and traffic of the UTC shopping district. We don’t have this chain in Illinois, so this felt like a cozy retreat from the shopping chaos. The atmosphere is warm and industrial with calming music playing in the background. Customers were studying, chatting, and enjoying themselves. I appreciated the diverse crowd—it gave the space a welcoming, Americana feel. I ordered a light brew with a touch of butterscotch. It was smooth, velvety, and perfectly balanced—flavorful without being overpowering. A great blend. At 5:55 PM and 90° outside, this place was a soothing, air-conditioned haven. Service was friendly, fast, and genuine. Glad I stopped in. If they’re still around the next time I’m in Florida, I’ll definitely be back!
