This used to be my favorite Beans location. But lately, I’ve been getting a lot of not so good drinks. Too bitter, or too sweet, unbalanced flavors, or just straight up made incorrectly (no mocha in my mocha latte, for example). Also, long wait times (10-15 minutes) even though there’s few or no other customers in front of me. Love Beans but this location needs some attention to get back to what it used to be.
We’ve been dedicated Beans clients for a while now. As I’m writing this, at 1:00 pm on a Saturday, I’m completing my tenth minute waiting for the employee working the drive thru to come to the window. Whoever y’all have hired to work weekends is TANKING your service. You’re not busy, and I’m not the only one to have experienced this. I’ve heard of others waiting for 15+ minutes, and that’s not including their actual food or drink(s) being made. Hopped over to Starbucks and they had no problem taking care of us from order to driving off in sub 5 minutes.
I ordered an orange juice and asked if they could top it off with lemonade, and the result was absolutely delicious. The ladies who helped me were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I haven’t had a chance to try the coffees or teas yet, but based on this experience, I’m definitely impressed so far.
They give you good coffee but it's a gamble on what you get. Once they forgot my flavoring, I rarely get it extra hot like I ask and sometimes the size changes from the speaker to the window but the coffee is always good.
Beans and Brew always has always had excellent beverages. Not sure if the baristas were having bad days or if they were overwhelmed, but my sister and nieces went in Sunday morning and waited 20+ minutes for two coffee beverages, and a bagel. The bagel received was moldy and they did get another that wasn't. Perhaps an opportunity for some process improvement? North Ogden needs you guys to stay in business for alternative options! :)
