TJ's Bagels

I enjoyed the service and my breakfast. The variety of beverages is great. No matter what day the croissantis delicious. 'Red' was so friendly and attentive. I'd like to give credit but didn't see a name tag. Lovely clean environment but a bit cluttered and maybe the space would feel a bit less like it's being remodeled with more thought to organization and only as need products out front. I'll return for the food and service again.

Probably the best bagel I’ve had in years and I’m not even a bagel person. I got the egg salad on a garlic bagel, the texture is so chewy and delicious. The bagels I’ve had in my life were all dry hence why I wasn’t a bagel person but this one changed my mind. I also had a hot chocolate but didn’t like the milky taste. Regardless, the bagels here are amazing 👍

Customer service was great. They had wonderful suggestions and there were a variety of options. Also got a dozen to go! There were little bagel bites I wish I had room for as they looked very good!

The food is delicious, BLT on an everything bagel is my favorite! Their bagels are actually fresh, soft and flavourful - no matter what time of day you go. Lots of coffee options. The only down side for me is that their kitchen is not well ventilated. I love the food but I don't want to smell like it, even if I just go in to pick up. Love supporting a local business specially with friendly staff, always greeting with a smile. I definitely recommend this place!

I've been going here since it opened (originally CJs). I dont live in ankeny anymore so its a special trip to get my fix. The bagels are always good. Bagel bites are always delish. But the meals always seem to be lacking something. Pictured is the blt (without the t) for my lunch today. I drove almost 40 mins round trip for this. This isnt the first time, might be the last though.
