Mazajj Organic Coffee

Crema's Take
“Mazajj brings authentic Yemeni and Middle Eastern coffee culture to Houston with a warm, cozy atmosphere that feels genuinely special—think rich, aromatic traditional coffee and creative specialty drinks like their standout pistachio latte that have earned serious devotion from regulars. The shop strikes that perfect balance between a welcoming community gathering spot and a laptop-friendly refuge, complete with thoughtful pastries and tea service, though their execution can be inconsistent so you might want to stick with what they do best: the coffee and creative specialty beverages. It's the kind of place that makes you wish you lived closer, with friendly staff and genuine cultural character that goes way beyond the typical café experience.”
What to expect
Strong matcha and tea selection, with creative signature drinks. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly spot, good for meetings. Pastries on the menu. Open late. Family friendly.

First of all this has all the culture vibes. It is a middle eastern Yemeni style coffee shop. It has cute decor and the perfect size for a coffee shop. You can order at the front or use their touch pad to order. They have a variety of choices and pastries. I got the iced…
Such a lovely and cozy place! The coffee is rich and aromatic, and the tea is absolutely wonderful. We ordered two large teapots for a group of five — more than enough, and everything was delicious. The pastries and desserts are truly amazing — fresh, beautifully presented, and…

I wish I lived in Houston so I could come here more often!! The service was great and the food was even better. I got the pistachio latte 10/10, pistachio matcha 9/10, and the pistachio tres leches 9.5/10. Next time I'm in town I'll definitely stop by again.
The latte’s here was so good and it’s a nice place to sit and get work done. The cake was also great but the Spinach pastry that we got was awful, we couldn’t even take a second bite :( Update: Went here again for a work day and this is the second time they were out of Red…
