Abogados Café

Abogados Cafe is a homely café in St. Paul, a place with a lot of well-manicured chains and corporate coffee chains. I got the "Fearless Lawtte", and I will be referring to that for product review. Atmosphere: Friendly staff, and decor centered around the owners' Latin American roots. A warm, friendly space that feels safe and welcoming. The only thing I dislike is that the seating, while comfortable and fitting the theme of the location, isn't comfortable for longer stays (>30 minutes) from my own experience. The mercadito, while also charming, and filled with good products from the area, makes the seating towards the back of that room feel a bit cramped. Presentation: Fantastic, they have a custom stencil of the shop for creating latte art. The little sprinkle of cayenne on top alongside that was professional. The custom mugs are solid, sturdy and professional. Taste: The Lawless is a good latte. The milk was well-textured, not too hot so so that the sweetness comes through, with a light coffee flavor. Although preferential, the cayenne was stronger than I would have liked(just ask for less). Furthermore, it was more expensive than I have come to expect of a special latte. However, it was delicious regardless, and a truly unique drink you should at least try, if not come back for. Service and Cleanliness: Service was stellar, and the place was spotless. It was 11:30, so several hours past open, and there wasn't any trash, stains, or spills; no dust. The barista kindly took my order, made small talk, made a great drink and beought it out to my table in less than 5 minutes; fantastic. Where people at other shops are miserable, the employees and customers alike were "chill" and welcoming. If I lived close by, I'd come here for the "vibes" alone, let alone the good coffee.

This cafe is so cute and staff were so friendly and suuuuper knowledgeable. I always feel self conscious at new to me cafes because I am not a black coffee snob and I don't always know what I am getting into when I ask for my extra sweet coffee drinks. But these drinks really are gourmet and so fun while also still having classics for those who don't like fru fru added to their drinks. And like I said the individual making the drinks today made sure to ask all of the customization questions and offer clarification and help with expectations for some of their specialties. Oh also the drinks are just delicious! I had Motion Granted which is lightly sweetened with Coconut! I was soooooo yummy, and ridiculously smooth while also feeling/tasting very light instead of heavy, if that makes sense. Just exactly what I wanted!

This was an incredible place to grab a morning drink. The staff that took our order was kind and was open to make our drinks in his own special way. We decided to order extra drinks to go. We ordered caramel mocha and Chai latte. Both were exceptionally delectable. ☕️

This coffee shop is so cute! I got the Spicy Latte and coffee cake. Both were delicious. They also had items for sale; perfect place to purchase a gift for you or someone else.

I love everything about this coffee shop. The owners were incredibly kind and accommodating. My parents and I enjoyed 3 delicious treats and the most magnificent masala chai I have had in my entire life. I will be thinking about that chai until I can make it back to Minnesota again!
