Ignore the age and needs for an upgrade... Grumpies is one of those 'must stop - dew drop in' establishments with fantastic meals, a good view of the flow of the Town and relaxing.Grumpies is in desperate need of some upgrades, remodeling and replacement of Booth Seat coverings... or more Duct Tape! Not to worry, the other Customers, the Atmosphere and Food make up for the ambiance. Parking is at a premium

We came in just after they opened on a Tuesday and had a wonderful experience. We were a party of 4 adults and a baby, and the gentleman was so kind and truly delighted by the baby. Portions were great, bacon was phenomenal, and we were in and out in a reasonable time. Highly recommend.

Bacon looks well cooked in photo. Was perfectly cooked. Biscuits amazingly fluffy. Meat and gravy tasted good- I am used to thicker gravy but there was no harm with theirs as the flavor and sausage was good. I inhaled my food as did my child. Three big breakfasts from regular menu and not the special menu for 48.00

Absolutely, hands down the best breakfast I've had in YEARS!!!!! The staff was hilarious, super welcoming and made it such a fun experience. When learning they made their pancakes with sweet cream after I had ordered, I quickly made a joke saying I'd have chosen that had I known... The server then surprised me with my very own pancake to try, along with some Marionberry syrup, and I will say it was one of the best pancakes I've ever had in my life!! I truly enjoyed my experience here, the staff is amazing and the food was exceptionally good (we had the chicken fried steak and it was GREAT!!) If I could give them ten stars, I would!!

I had the pancakes and they were huge. Order the silver dollar size if you're not ready for these. I thought they had a good pancake taste. Cute nautical atmosphere.
