Crema's Take

This espresso-focused spot punches well above its weight with creative signature drinks like the Hojicha latte and Maple Oat latte that regulars genuinely rave about, plus house-made mochi flour pastries that deserve their own devoted following. The cozy modern interior rewards those who discover it (the easy-to-miss signage is part of the charm), and while seating is intimate and limited, the baristas move with impressive speed and knowledge, making even a quick grab feel thoughtful. Whether you're settling in for a slow sit or dashing out with a takeaway, the quality tea drinks and espresso drinks here suggest the owners care deeply about what goes into each cup.

The Hojicha latte is delightful. Green tea pairs well with the roast and with soy milk. A little service hiccup meant I got to try both the hot and the iced. 🤩 The green 🍵 sings best in the hot! Tea fans you won't regret this experience. On my must list for downtown Portland.

Had a cappuccino, which was nice. Interior is cozy and modern. Came late morning on Sunday, was crowded. Didn’t see any decaf bags for sale.

The signage was easy to miss from across the street, and I almost walked right past it. The shop has limited seating and seems to cater mostly to takeaway orders. I had a latte, which was okay, though the pastries in the case were already sold out by the time I arrived. Overall, it’s a clean, minimalist, modern-style coffee spot.

I ordered the Lavender Honey Latte, which was quite good. The barista seemed very professional and was very fast. The shop is located inside a building, and there isn't much seating available. When we arrived, there weren't many desserts left to choose from, which suggests they sell very well. Overall, it's a pretty good shop.

One of the best lattes I’ve ever had 100% the maple oat latte is a must try and the hojicha. The pastries are mochi flour and incredibly delicious. Such kind, swift and informed service to boot!
