Crema's Take
“This charming Los Angeles spot has become a beloved destination for Instagram-worthy cakes and unexpected flavor combinations that actually deliver—think banana matcha that's genuinely the best people have ever tasted, and a viral soosoo matcha with corn cream that keeps guests coming back. The space itself is a treat, with thoughtfully decorated interiors and impeccably packaged pastries that feel special enough for celebrations or casual self-care moments. Whether you're stopping by solo to unwind or bringing visitors who need to experience something memorable, the warm staff and perfectly balanced sweetness make Harucake feel like a genuine gathering place rather than just another pretty café.”

Harucake is my fave place to treat myself to after a while or bring guests to whenever they come visit. They added a soosoo matcha to their menu and I was bouncing off the walls since I've been wanting to give it a try, but could not try their soosoo latte since I don't like coffee. It was just as amazing as I expected and wish I could drink it every day. Their cakes are delectable and not too sweet. My fave is their injeolmi cake- the perfect balance of sweet and salty with an addicting nutty scent. I've recently tried their dubai chewy cookie and was not a huge fan- $10 each was quite a steep price point for a treat that didn't quite live up to the hype, unfortunately. Service is always pretty quick and friendly! I just wish they were open on Sundays as well :')
The soosoo matcha and hojicha drinks are soo good especially if you like corn flavors! The corn cream and corn ice cream are amazing I always come back for it... Their cakes are pricy but very tasty too ive liked every flavor, not too sweet and very soft and creamy. The original egg tart is also really good, super flaky on the outside and soft egg on the inside. For the scones I prefer the plain milk cream flavor. The corn one was good too but the ones with icing on top of the scone were too much for me. The milk cream is really soft and not too sweet. The new dubai chocolate mochi ball is good but I probably wouldn't get it again for 10 dollars, it's nice to try once though.
The cafe is extremely pretty and “aesthetically pleasing”. All of their cakes were perfectly sweet! The banana matcha was the BEST flavored matcha I’ve ever had! Would def recommend this spot to anyone
Super cute decor, cakes, and drinks! The atmosphere and staff were all warm and friendly. We got their signature Soo Soo Latte and a Matcha Berry cake - both were really good and just the right amount of sweetness. I ended up taking out another cake to try at home since the first one was so good! We will be coming back here again to try more different cakes and drinks!
EVERYTHING IS SO CUTE 😱 The cakes were so beautifully decorated and delicate- I almost didn’t want to eat my slice of cake. Big thumbs up to their cake packaging. I had my for Togo and the cake stayed up right the entire ride.. like perfecto. I got the strawberries shortcake and ughhhh I wished I bought two!! I smashed the entire slice that night and was so sad when it was gone. I also got the strawberry lemonade mojito concoction- that was meh. Not something I would order again. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK FOR MORE CAKE THOUGH. This will be the cause for my ozempic journey 😂
