Grateful Brew
501 S Pleasantburg Dr, Greenville, SC
Crema's Take
“Grateful Brew merges specialty coffee with craft beer in a way that feels genuinely integrated rather than gimmicky, making it a rare spot where you can linger over either (or both) without choosing sides. The eclectic, funky aesthetic with its art features and expansive glass walls creates a refreshingly unpretentious atmosphere that locals clearly return to again and again, whether they're settling in with a laptop or catching up with friends over espresso drinks and seasonal brews.”

I had only been there during warmer months, when it's much more crowded, so this evening parking was easier to get into and the ambient noise was much lower/easier to talk than the other times. But I love the artsy vibe and non alcoholic options.
Grateful Brew is an eclectic, refreshing and inviting respite from the same-old same-everywhere coffee experience. And the beer!! Deciding between excellent craft coffee and delicious craft beer? The answer at Grateful Brew is yes.
I really wanted to like this place! The windows are so pretty. Unfortunately it was just so dirty, my elbows stuck to the counter. One of the owners poured my beer and when she was talking I saw her spit go into my glass, so I didn’t even drink it. If the bathrooms and counter were an indicator of their cleanliness, I don’t think I want to know what the rest of the place looks like. Pass!
First time visiting, and it definitely won’t be our last. This place offers a great selection of beers, which we really enjoyed. The staff was super friendly and kept the atmosphere upbeat. There’s plenty of seating and a nice, relaxed vibe perfect for hanging out. When we visited, there was a pizza truck on site that looked and smelled amazing. We’ll definitely be coming back for the drinks—and hopefully to try some delicious food next time!
We love this place! Easy going coffee shop and chill bar all in one! The decor and aesthetic is unique and calming with funky art features and a giant glass wall looking out. I got the blueberry cobbler latte and my husband ordered an americano. Both drinks were delightful! Our service was great and they even provided free water and pretzels to snack on while you sat. My husband ended up ordering an alagash white beer after he finished his coffee because we wanted to stay for a bit longer and enjoy the environment.
