Crema's Take
“Ogie's Cafe is a beloved West Valley institution that's earned its 4.6-star reputation as a breakfast destination with serious staying power—one loyal customer has made it their top spot for 15 years. The place nails that cozy, old-school diner atmosphere where regularity feels like coming home, and while service can be uneven during busy weekend mornings, the quality of the food and the genuine care behind it keep people coming back for their signature burritos and classic breakfast spreads. It's the kind of place where you can linger over coffee, meet friends, or bring the family and feel like you've stumbled onto something authentically local rather than polished.”

Food was great! Better that I expected. It was a Sunqday so they were busy. We did wait a bit but definitely worth it. Service was a bit slow, took a bit for the server to come. Otherwise im glad I finally tried this place. Definitely will come back again. Q
Food looked like it would be good breakfat food, but we had to cancel our order and leave. Sat at counter. Had to ask for coffee 3 times. Got a cup. Ordered our food, never saw the server again. No one else coming behind the counter looked at us or responded to our requests for more coffee. After 15 min with no further contact we left. Looks like it could be a decent place, but horrible layout and the staff need better training.
Diners have their own special space within the restaurant astral plane. The best of them hold faith in authenticity, family, and home; foregoing kitsch for care. If they have designs at all, they're for full hearts, contented souls, via satisfied bellies. And the church of Ogie's heals and elevates very nicely in this regard. Simple food found within a reliably accessible menu is precisely why we go to places like this. My grilled cheese was great. The hash browns were outstanding. The service was lively and full of sass. Sometimes we go places so that we can disappear into the better, warmer currents of humanity... and it was a privilege to spend a morning here. Of course they're recommended. Ogie's is the culinary hug you've been needing. Me, too.
"hidden gem" this is my absolute #1 breakfast spot. Has been for the last 15yrs. I'd recommend the special burrito.
First time. You don't have to be seated so don't wait and choose your table. Isabel was our server and she was super friendly and helpful. We loved the old-feel cozy dinner. We got bacon, eggs, waffle and French toast. The hash browns were very yummy as well as the coffee. The toast had a little too much egg for my liking. Prices are reasonable. Our food came fast which is a plus. They got 4 stars only because our food was not as warm as we expected. Ogie, please work on this because we are coming back anyway.
