Crema's Take

This Minneapolis hybrid gem blends coffee culture with record collecting and film development, creating a genuinely unique third space that feels more like a creative's sanctuary than a typical café. The menu leans boldly into fruit-forward specialty drinks with generous hits of passionfruit and raspberry, while the pastry selection spans everything from stroopwafels to Aussie bites, all served in a warm, vibey atmosphere that inspires visitors to linger with books, journals, or cameras. Whether you're a coffee enthusiast, vinyl collector, or film photographer, the thoughtful curation and genuinely kind service make this place feel like it was designed by artists, for artists.

Was sent here by an artist @ Kaleidoscope Tattoo & thank goodness; I'm infatuated with the menu. No other coffee place I've been to has that much passionfruit or raspberry on their menu- heck yeah!! Unfortunately didn't get the awesome barista's name (I visited @ 330pm on Thurs 1/22); they whipped up a killer off-menu passionfruit matcha for me. Would come back for that but also really wanna try the one w/ espresso & Mexican coke! Mushroom & Swiss pastry was phenomenal. Love the clean but still *inviting* vibe. Appreciate the ease of parking in adjoining lot.

This place is so warm and vibey. The cozy atmosphere made me want to come back with a book, a journal, a camera, and rolls of film to develop. I forgot to get overall photos of the space, but the photo lab and hi-fi setup were so cool

It's a record store... it's a coffee shop... it's a photo lab/film store... it's AMAZING!! The lattes are delicious and the treats are a cool variety - Aussie Bites, stroopwafels and delicious French bakery offerings (to mention a few). The record selection is eclectic and vast. You can also buy hand rolled film here! What more could you ask for?

My partner and I really loved the atmosphere, service. and the ability to shop for some music here. Our barista was super kind, and the shop had some a friendly energy. Sadly, the coffee was lacking compared to the many other coffee shops we went to in Minneapolis, but we still enjoyed our time and would return to see if it gets better or if that might've been a fluke. It was nice that I could purchase some film for my camera while I was here as well.

During the weekend of December 25, 2024, my boyfriend and I visited Minnesota to explore Paisley Park and catch a Vikings game. While there, we stumbled upon this incredible coffee shop, and it was an absolute gem! The vibe here is unmatched—imagine sipping on amazing coffee while browsing through actual records and albums. It’s such a unique and nostalgic concept that truly stands out. The atmosphere was warm, creative, and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and recharge. The service was just as exceptional as the coffee, with friendly and attentive staff who made the experience even better. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back!
