Matari Coffee

How many places can you hang out and grab a coffee at 1:00 a.m. in Columbus? Nice chill spot to grab a treat, coffee, or tea. Many traditional middle eastern teas and food items to grab. No full service food, but some small, varied things like cheese pie. Nearby restaurants have take away if you want food, great Indian food next door. Service is great, everyone is very friendly and accommodating. They will customize however you like for their beverages. Everything I’ve tried is well made, authentic, and tasty. Just a really great little spot.

I don’t normally write reviews, but this café deserves it. I’ve been here multiple times and the staff especially are always incredibly kind and welcoming, staff member anas was super kind giving me a free matcha. The location and seating are perfect, and their late-night hours are unbeatable for studying. On top of that, the pastries and drinks are consistently delicious.

My experience at this Yemeni café was totally on point. The ambiance is seriously cool and the whole establishment feels like a luxurious cozy retreat. Their beverage selection is wildly impressive, with everything from traditional Yemeni flavors to unique specialty drinks. I almost fainted from the pure deliciousness of those desserts, a true culinary masterpiece. The staff’s dedication to a welcoming atmosphere really elevates the entire experience, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. This café has definitely become one of my favorite coffee shops. ☕

This was a very cute cafe that is great for meeting up or catching up with friends, to sit and get work done, or to just pick up a coffee or tea. They have your typical yemeni flavors and other seasonal varieties. The iced Adeni is what I got with sugar - it was definitely tasty and curbed my craving for chai. The yemeni latte had similar ingredients but the cinnamon rather than the nutmeg definitely changes the flavor and I prefer the Adeni. I didn’t try the desserts, but they definitely look aesthetic and are made for instagram. The honey comb dessert (bready dessert with a cheesy filling) was a popular order.

Absolutely loved this Yemeni café! The vibes are amazing and the whole place feels so luxurious and cozy. Their drinks are incredible, and they offer a big variety of options—from traditional Yemeni flavors to unique specialty drinks. The desserts are just as impressive and so delicious. Everyone there is extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. This café has definitely become one of my favorite spots!
