Crema's Take
“Patria Coffee Roasters brings genuine warmth to Compton with an unpretentious vibe that feels both urban and organic, where the cortadito rivals specialty shops anywhere and the real chai latte tastes like it should. The friendly staff moves quickly through crowds without losing care, and whether you're grabbing a pour-over or settling into their cozy indoor seating, you'll find solid drinks at prices that actually make sense—plus free parking in back.”

Very urban n organic. What could be better?! The chai latte was real chai tea. Iced matcha hit.
Great small coffee shop in Compton. The cortadito is one of my favorite drinks. Staff is friendly. Parking is in the back, shared with the adjacent businesses.
A hole in the wall café, muffin was undercooked i specifically said warm up but I got it handed cold when I realized I already drove off and was closer to my job. Place needs to work on customer service as well i felt rushed while ordering and it seemed the employee wasnt paying attention at all when I ordered.
Best drip coffee I’ve had in a long time and great drink prices compared to other shops. It has a small indoor area with seating and a free parking lot on the side of the building. I am always greeted by a friendly barista who is helpful and nice. I ordered a lemon croissant pastry that they offered to warm up, a large black coffee (amazing!) and a bag of the same beans that was made for the drip to take home. These particular beans were so nice, smooth, buttery and most importantly not very acidic. If you are looking for good coffee beans to gift a friend or brew at home yourself, I would *highly* recommend the bag I have pictured here. Plus, They give a free drip coffee with every purchase of coffee beans. I am looking forward to returning and trying the other beans they offer. They also make their own syrups, I really love when shops do this! It always tastes so much better than the mass produced syrups most shops use. I have only tried Patria’s Honey Lavender in a cappuccino but it was so nice and balanced. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a quaint shop- One of my favorite local spots in LA.
I ordered the Ibarra Mex Mocha, which was pretty good. This is a nice small coffee shop with a hip vibe with decent amount of seating. The staff is friendly and is able to handle a big crowd and online orders. They really love their job and enjoy conversations with their customers, that was really nice to see.
