Crema's Take

Hexe Coffee is a bewitchingly atmospheric spot where Gothic charm meets serious coffee craft—think skull-shaped pastries, strategically priced menu items at $6.66, and a dark industrial aesthetic that somehow feels strangely cozy. Their specialty drinks like the whiskey barrel light brew espresso cortado showcase real creativity, while their pour overs and cold brew prove they take the fundamentals seriously, all served by staff who genuinely seem to love what they do. With a sprawling patio perfect for lingering, a solid food selection, and a vibe that's equally welcoming for laptop workers or leisurely meetups, it's become a neighborhood favorite worth the slightly premium prices.

"Hexe means witch, in German", is what yhe human at the counter said. It's strangely cozy, as industrial as it is. I got the whiskey barrel light brew espresso cortado and it tastes as amazing as it smells. My girl got a bespoke syrup tea. London Fogs are hard to get right, and they do. The savory, buffalo scone is a banger, ask for it warmed up, and round out your palatte with the 💀 bundt and tahini cookie. No notes.

A very dark, Gothic themed coffee shop where menu items are price $6.66, skull shaped pastries, and ghoulish designs are set. It was cool vibes and the decaf espresso is quality. It seems like a great spot to work and hangout at as well.

Fantastic coffee shop. The employees all seem to love their job and the food/drink they serve. They can be a tiny bit pricey but worth it. Great vibes, perfect for working. Also they have a wall of products made by some of the baristas. Got these amazing pickle stain glass earrings from it!

Excellent coffee shop at a main crossroad in the neighborhood. It has a beautiful outdoor terrace seatings and a good number of tables inside, too. A lot of options for both coffee and non-coffee.

My wife and I love this place. We walk over all the time. Hexe has a great, big patio which is perfect for nice days. The coffee is always good, and they have a solid food selection too. It's cool that they also offer alcoholic drinks and have fun events like trivia. Plus, they always have water bowls out for dogs, which is a nice touch. It's just a great all-around spot in the neighborhood. Highly recommend.
