Elegy Coffee
516 Hagan St, Nashville, TN
Crema's Take
“Elegy Coffee has earned a devoted following for genuinely good coffee paired with standout food—their breakfast burritos are so impressive they're converting skeptics into five-star reviewers. While their pour-over and espresso drinks are solid rather than cutting-edge, the real magic happens when you pair your coffee with their fresh pastries and breakfast menu, making this feel less like a typical specialty coffee stop and more like a neighborhood gathering spot worth seeking out.”

hot latte with extra shot wasnt bitter enough and it was sweet though i didnt mention adding sweetness. the sizes for cap and latte are tiny. coffee flavor was just average; was expecting 3rd wave type coffee flavor. wont be coming back when visiting Nash.
I never do these. However I must say. The breakfast burrito was fantastic. I also almost never give a five star review. I'll rate mid-range for atmosphere because it's not my typical atmosphere. Very trendy sort of place, I tend to feel out of place. But the staff was atypically nice, the coffee was a perfect Columbian mild roast the way I drink it black no sugar or cream. But let me get to the food. I got the Baseline Deluxe with bacon. The taste was surprisingly good. Savory with fried potatoes, just enough salty, the blend of cheese and avocado creamy umami taste. This will be one of those times I desperately want to try the others but I'm afraid I would be disappointed only because the baseline Deluxe was perfection. No photo. I ate it too fast. Maybe next time.
I love good coffee and Elegy coffee has some really good coffee. And as a bonus, really good food as well. We ordered the basic breakfast burrito and jalapeño cheese bagel, which were both fresh and delicious. The drip coffee was excellent, requiring no cream or sugar. Solid coffee shop with plenty of seating and wonderful coffee. Would definitely go again.
Being new to the area I’ve been searching for a place that makes good coffee-based drinks and after several TikToks suggesting Elegy I gave the WeHo location a try. I am obsessed. I’m glad I don’t live to close or I’d blow my entire food budget. The drinks are top notch, to the point where even when the ice starts to melt it doesn’t taste like gross watered down coffee and milk. The burritos are delicious and the salsas are perfection, although I do wish they gave you more salsa for the price you pay. My only reason for 4 stars is that it is pricey in general. A drink and burrito is almost $20. Additionally, parking, as with most places in this city, can also be a pain, but you’ll still catch me here at least once a week.
Elegy coffee is a legend! This is their newest branch in Nashville and it is poised in a perfect spot as WeHo is developing like crazy. If I lived in this part of town, it would definitely be my go to coffee shop. The coffee was awesome and dialed in to T. Loved my tiny Cortada in the smallest to go cup I’ve ever seen. Our party also had an Americano that was excellent and a fabulous Matcha. Great shelf of merch – some of the best variety and quality I’ve seen. Great open mod/Boho decor. love the plants – which are absolutely everywhere! Great light in the shop too. And the bathrooms are the bomb! All seating is table seating, not chairs and couchs, but plenty of room find a table, grab some Wi-Fi and get some work done. The food is fabulous too – they’ve got some amazing breakfast burrito options and their pastries, while not from in-house, are delicious too. I love the crunchy top on the blueberry muffin :-)
