Crema's Take
“This LA gem specializes in Korean bingsoo that elevates the traditional shaved ice into something special with creamy shaved milk and thoughtfully balanced toppings like salted milk tea cream and earl grey flavors. Beyond the dessert spotlight, they craft both traditional and creative specialty drinks including matcha tea, though consistency seems to vary depending on what you order. It's a cozy, slow-sit kind of place that gets buzzy on weekends, so arrive early or embrace the wait for their signature frozen treats.”

It's even more delicious because it's not just shaved ice, but made with shaved milk. The red bean paste that comes with it isn't too sweet, and they give you individual bowls to scoop up, making it easy to share. I highly recommend the black sesame red bean shaved ice!
Always go there to get some nice shaved ice and drink. Unfortunately, today I went and ordered strawberry bingsoo and pomegranate mint drink for the first time and the taste wasn’t good, tastes nothing like pomegranate but mint toothpaste. That was ok. But the worst thing is I didn’t finish my drink and I carry it back home while drinking it in the car I feel something hard in my mouth and I split it out.. it’s a sharp broken plastic piece.. I call them when I got home but no one picked up the phone.. imagine if I drink it too fast.. it would go into my stomach and i wouldn’t know it! Not sure if there were smaller particles that I might actually swallowed it already… 🤦🏻♀️ what can I do about this?
The Dessert: This place serves a really nice Bingsoo (Korean shaved ice). It’s a fantastic dessert spot with great quality and flavors. The Reality (Price & Crowd): Cost: Be aware that the prices have gone up recently. It’s a bit pricier than it used to be. Wait Times: Because it is popular, you may have to wait to be seated during peak hours, especially between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Logistics: A huge plus is that parking is validated. Make sure to bring your ticket with you to save on the garage fees. Verdict: Despite the price increase and the potential wait, it remains a nice dessert destination that hits the spot.
The earl grey bingsoo was delicious. I was a little worried about the lack of fruit toppings when I ordered, but what they put was perfect: salted milk tea cream on top and graham crumbs around the edge to balance out the sweetness. The flavor of earl grey was strong. It is on the sweeter side so I didn't end up using their condensed milk.
Came on a Friday night and there was a long wait to sit inside. We did have the option of to go and then finding a place to sit outside. There were two tables outside but people waiting to sit inside were sitting in the chairs so that was super annoying. We decided to order to go. Although the presentation of the to go is not as pretty. It still hits the spot. We got the mango, strawberry, green tea, black sesame. My favorite was definitely the mango. The condensed milk was on the side so it wasn’t too sweet.
