Better Buzz Coffee Carlsbad

Adorable coffee shop right across the street from our hotel. Great energy and vibe, and the customer service is fantastic. The music was fun and the place felt lively. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We ordered the Mexican mocha and it was delicious. I’m very picky about Mexican mochas and this was one of the best I’ve had. We also tried the ham and cheese croissant, the avocado feta toast (no tomatoes for the picky eaters in our group), and the OG açaí bowl. Everything was fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend this spot.

Stopped here while on vacation and got the caramel vanilla latte which the barista said was her favorite. So good and such a cute location! Close enough to walk to the beach. I’m hoping I can stop by again before we leave!

Nice coffee shop a couple blocks from our hotel. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant and a pink dragon smoothie. You order at the counter then you stand nearby until your order is ready. This isn’t a good process because you’re stuck standing there until your food is ready. The sitting area is in a separate room and you would not hear your name called. Plus it was busy and it seemed they were also trying to fulfill online orders so I stood there 11 minutes. Please change this process. Please tell your dining in customers to take a seat and you will call their name loudly or bring their order to them. The ham and cheese croissant was good. I like it when cheese does not ooze everywhere when you are trying to eat the sandwich. The pink dragon smoothie was ok. It was missing a definitive flavor. They have street parking and a small parking lot. The staff was extremely busy and i felt like a number versus a customer. Excellent location.

Just a Starbucks wanabe with just slightly better coffee than starbucks. If you are into and appreciate fine coffee don't come here. Pick one of the other excellent coffee shops in Carlsbad. Poorly trained barista gave me what was supposed to be a cappuccino just airy milk on top of mediocre coffee. The milk wasn't smooth and frothy at all. Pannekin which isn't far away is a much better place. But this has a great location.

Love Better Buzz in the Village! Ignacio was super friendly and even made me an exclusive maple matcha that was delicious. The coffee is always great and the breakfast hits the spot. Definitely one of my go-to places!
