Crema's Take

Tucked away in Laguna Beach, this independent café captures the essence of California charm with thoughtfully crafted drinks and an impressive lineup of house-made pastries and brunch items that go well beyond typical coffee shop fare. Their lattes are consistently excellent, but it's the attention to detail across everything—from a perfectly balanced matcha to savory crepes and buttery scones—that keeps locals coming back. It's the kind of hidden gem spot worth seeking out, where quality ingredients and genuine care shine through in every cup and bite.

Amazing brunch at wild strawberry cafe 🍓. We got the Italian crepe w/ salami, chorizo burrito, quiche Loraine, strawberry matcha scone, chocolate chip cookie, peanut butter cookie & the thumbprint cookies. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! We will definitely be frequenting this cafe. Then staff was also very friendly & eveything was clean!

Stopped in with a couple coworkers for coffee and pastries and had a lovely experience! Excellent lattes and even better pastries. We had a chocolate chip cookie, a matcha raspberry cookie and strawberry short break cookies. Tons of outdoor seating.

A lovely breakfast overall. The omelet was soft and flavorful, perfectly paired with creamy avocado and fresh fruit on the side. The matcha was smooth, rich, and well-balanced—not too bitter, not too sweet. You can really taste the quality. Simple, comforting, and absolutely delicious.

Such a cute little cafe. You wouldn't find it unless you were looking for it. We searched Maps for breakfast nearby, and this was the closest and first option. The menu is fairly tight with options, but the pastries and desserts looked amazing. The decor and ambiance was so inviting; fresh flowers on the tables, and even a cozy blanket draped over a few chairs in case you get chilly. They have really cute merchandise displayed too. It felt like a little tea party.

Nice charming cafe with sandwiches, scones and salads that are high quality and taste great. The Pumpkin Spice Latte was 5/5 perfectly done and not overly sweet, and the berry scone was also great. The pastrami sandwich felt light and healthy with nice warm bread, but overall was OK and at $15 for half sandwich and salads is fair for high 2025 prices but also felt a tad too expensive for the sandwich, although other items were priced reasonably. Great service and staff members checked up on us while we studied inside, and the plates and mugs are nice The vibe is nice and there is a nice outdoor seating area, and when we were there it was a cold autumn day Overall I would come back. 4.5/5 rounding up to 5 as it was nice
