Crema's Take
“This spacious Chicago spot excels at creative, signature drinks like their standout cortado and inventive flavored lattes, making it a reliable choice for espresso enthusiasts willing to overlook occasional inconsistencies. The comfortable, cute atmosphere and laptop-friendly setup make it ideal for lingering over coffee and food, though service can be hit-or-miss and some patrons feel the pricing doesn't quite match the quality. If you're drawn to specialty drink creativity and want room to settle in for a few hours, it's worth a visit—just know the experience hinges partly on when you go.”

I got a shamrock match almond latte. It was very good, however I would have liked it hot not iced - I forgot to mention but I also wasn't asked. I also got the avocado toast which was also very tasty and elegant even without the egg but the portion size was really small for $12 in my opinion, like 6 by 4in in size, so maybe not worth it if you're hungry. The atmosphere and the baristas were really nice.
This is a lovely coffee spot!!! I have been twice for a coffee in the morning and have always had a delicious Americano and ample seating/space. One person I was with got their yogurt parfait and it looked really tasty. I’ll definitely be back to try more off their menu. The murals are incredible (by the amazing local artist Sam Kirk)
Nice food and a spacious, comfortable space, but I wouldn’t come back due to unfriendly service and poor value for money. For example, menu items ending with “toast,” there’s an extra charge for the bread, and the staff seemed unmotivated.
We came in to get out of the cold and this place lived up to its name a bit more than we'd hoped. The atmosphere is very cute! But the coffee is just mid. Flavored lattes didn't taste great and the cortado was large and foamy like a cappuccino. The smaller drinks came in double styrofoam cups. The menu has lots of nice-sounding toasts but no pastries or other snacks.
Love this place—definitely a great find! The cortado is amazing (I actually ended up ordering two). The toast concept is a fun idea, though the execution felt a tad dry and could use a bit more flavor. I also loved discovering the hidden stage; I definitely need to come back one night to catch a show!
