Crema's Take

Coffee Sarap is a Filipino-owned gem in downtown Denver that brings authentic island flavors to every cup and plate, from their signature golden corn drink to a pork longganisa breakfast burrito that tastes like home. Beyond the excellent coffee and fresh, thoughtfully-crafted food, what really sets this place apart is its warm, personable energy—the kind where staff remember regulars and the owners celebrate the seasons with their community through events and creative touches. It's the rare specialty coffee spot that feels equally welcoming whether you're stopping by for a quick caffeine fix or settling in for a slow morning surrounded by genuine cultural creativity.

I recently visited Coffee Sarap in downtown Denver and had such a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic Filipino flavors and cooked perfectly. Everything tasted fresh and comforting. The drinks were just as amazing, and paired so well with the meal. You can really tell they put care into both the food and presentation. If you’re looking for a Filipino café with great vibes and even better food, I highly recommend Coffee Sarap. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I love going to this Filipino coffee shop located in Reno. I’m there almost every week and the staff is not only kind, but quick with service. The store does tend to get busy around 9/10 AM and of course the lunch rush. Throughout this, however, the staff is still kind and takes the time to make sure that everyone has good quality service. The coffee was delicious, specifically the Mestisa Latte. I highly recommend trying their beef tapa or any other burrito as well.

I love the vibes, decor, cultural creativity of the menu, and the fact that it is minority and woman owned! I got the pork longganisa breakfast burrito, golden corn drink (can't remember the name for sure), and the mestiza latte. The latte was super cinnamony which I loved. My only qualm was that they made it with oat milk. I absolutely hate oat milk. I felt like the full bodied nature of the flavors weren't able to correctly shine through with their milk choice but it was an okay drink. The golden corn drink was very delicious, i just wasn't a fan of the pieces of corn or cereal in my drink. The texture took away from the overall enjoyment of the drink. The burritos was super yummy. It was a bit sweet, with I initially was not a fan of. However, with their provided side of sriracha, it brought everything together. I would definitely come here again.

Coffee Sarap is a true Filipino gem in the Denver neighborhood offering many great Filipino coffee options and food. What I love about the most about coffee Sarap is the many events they put on to increase the awareness of the Filipino culture. The atmosphere is so inviting and welcoming and the service is top-tier.

Fun place with good energy. It’s a small entryway but also personable. The man running the counter was very helpful with suggestions. They had cute matching costumes for Halloween. I personally got the pumpkin loaf slice and a “Bruha” halloween Pandan Latte with Ube foam and boba. Another in my party got the Ube Brownie and Ube Pandan Bread Roll. They were very quick to deliver the drinks. I was a bit sad to receive my drink originally with an inch missing off the top which I originally thought was due to my request of no ice, but was actually due to the missing ube foam that I myself forgot was supposed to be there for a second. It took a second for the correction to be made but I was happy once I received it. I did find the ube foam to be a bit dull in flavor but just very bright in color. The boba pearls were a bit more on the sticky side rather than smooth consistency I usually like. The base of the drink was I believe the Pandan green leaf which the cashier mentioned tastes more neutral and somewhat like vanilla. I agree with the description and it was a fun experience. The Ube Brownie was very rich. It had good flavor and was what I believe was a white chocolate base. It was good but very decadent to finish by yourself. The Ube Pandan roll was so amazing! This was a cashier recommendation and it came out warm. I loved the cream in the roll that paired amazing with the subtle flavor in the bread. I did appreciate that they had glass jars for water cups at the counter. I think everything outside of my drink experience was fantastic and I would definitely come again. It is quite pricey for my budget, so this would be only an occasionally splurge.
