Shipley Do-Nuts

Wow, a great experience, service, product and great employees that were ambassadors of we want you to come back. They were always working and but always had time to stop and see if you needed anything else. Rare, i guess that's why their competitor pulled a 3.3.

This Shipleys has been run by the same owners for a long time and they are as enthusiastic about their store and service now as they were years ago when I first tried them out. They are all smiles and friendly as are all of their employees. They cannot wait to serve your wants and do so quickly and pleasantly every time! Strongest recommendation possible!

I bought 2 apple fritters and 6 doughnuts. 1 lemon filled, 1 strawberry filled, 1 apple filled, 1 Boston cream, and 2 regular plain but delicious! The plain doughnuts were just slightly crispy and had just come out, so they were absolutely delicious!! I love their fritters but I can only eat half of one at a time/or in a day because they are so rich in flavor! And, I usually eat that half of fritters with water or a cold glass of milk! YUMMY!! The staff there are fantastic. I'd say it's a family run business which makes me more likely to return, even at 5:30 a.m.!! Good staff, good sweets and great experience every time! I have to go back to try the kolaches next time!! I am sure they are delicious too, just like everything else. But will have to check them out still!!

I really like the Shipley's donuts next to Starbucks on the IH 35 frontage road near 3009. The manager, Flory, is so friendly and manages the store well. There is always a good selection of donuts available, along with 4 types of kolaches. She doesn't get many requests for decaf coffee, so rather than have a stale pot sitting there, she makes a fresh, small pot when someone requests decaf like me! I don't mind waiting a few minutes for hot, fresh coffee! The store is clean and they have a rewards program and specialty coffees. What more could you want?

Stopped by for a quick coffee while house-hunting with a client. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm customer service and stylish, inviting decor. Plenty of seating made it easy to relax and enjoy our drinks. Great spot—would definitely stop in when I the area!
