Coffee Tree & Bop
904 7th Ave, Seattle, WA
Crema's Take
“Coffee Tree & Bop strikes that rare balance between serious coffee craft and genuinely craveable food, with reviewers particularly raving about their breakfast sandwiches—especially the Bob Tree special with its creamy eggs on brioche—and a matcha program that actually nails the sweetness balance. The vibe is clearly built for lingering, whether you're meeting friends or settling in with a full breakfast, and the staff consistently earns praise for their friendliness and attentiveness to detail in everything from custom sandwich builds to their maple bar.”

I came here for lunch and ordered a hot matcha latte, a musubi, and the teriyaki chicken rice bowl — everything was so good. Matcha is usually hit-or-miss for me since it’s often not sweet, but this one didn’t need any sugar. It was perfect. The rice bowl had a really interesting mix of ingredients, all delicious, and the musubi… wow. I could easily eat 100 of them. I usually don’t like black rice because people don’t cook it right, but theirs was done perfectly. I’d highly recommend this place for a quick, tasty lunch. There’s limited seating, so unless you come during a quieter time, you may have trouble finding a spot. I came during a slower period and was able to set up my laptop and get some work done. I haven’t tried the breakfast yet, but I have no doubt it would be just as good.
We enjoyed our food. The choices were great. The details of the sandwiches and sauces are really well done. The maple bar was also delicious. Highly recommended.
I give this 5 stars because the classic bacon & egg breakfast sandwhich is excellent, which together with a good coffee is exactly what I want for breakfast. Very nice staff as well.
Second time I stopped; Returned because first time was not only convenient but scrumptious w great friendly prompt service. I ordered the turkey croissant, add avocado. The sandwich is a bit pricey for $15, but the size is good, plus I added avocado which is expensive and of course, taxes are outrageous right now. My apple juice cost 3.95 :/. Not their fault! The ladies that run that spot are real pleasant.
They truly do have the best breakfast sandwich ever lol. I ordered the Bob Tree special. Creamy eggs, brioche, big sandwich, yum! The only thing is that I paid for arugula and they gave me mixed greens saying that's their "arugula"... except the mixed greens didn't have arugula 🙈 No biggie. It was still delicious :) Great coffee!
