Crema's Take
“Musette is a beloved neighborhood gathering spot where thoughtfully crafted espresso drinks and specialty lattes like their standout matcha sit alongside a curated menu of light brunch fare and pastries. With a warm, casual atmosphere that keeps regulars coming back for years, it's the kind of place where you linger over your coffee and conversation, though arrive early if you have your heart set on their croissants. The kitchen takes care with dishes like carrot soup with shakshuka, making it worth stopping in whether you're meeting friends or just exploring the neighborhood.”

The food was just okay. I ordered a croissant sandwich, but they were out of croissants so I got it on sourdough, which ended up being very hard. Overall, the sandwich was average. Coffee was fine but nothing special. I would recommend this place mainly for the ambiance, though seating is very limited. Staff was polite, but it didn’t feel particularly welcoming.
I’ve been a customer at Musette for over two years, and every visit is a wonderful experience. The food is consistently excellent, with a thoughtfully curated menu full of unique dishes, and the drinks are always delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly. For me, Musette feels like a little piece of Europe in America - a truly special place in the neighborhood that I love coming back to.
The carrot 🥕 soup 🍲 with shuckshuka is absolutely delicious. AI recommended me this place as a "baby friendly" caffe - it is but not that much - bringing the stroller in was a little pain - there were no rails and doors weren't very narrow. Not a big deal maybe. Also this place is very old and maybe need some renovation. It's very cute, though. The tables outside during the summer are the best.
Fun and casual. Great coffee, great service. I had the smoked salmon which was serviced on pumpernickel bread. It needed a little more cream cheese as it was slightly dry. Probably a pumpernickel bagel would have been better. But still good and I definitely we could recommend.
My cousins and I stopped in for a light brunch before heading over to Calder Gardens. Musette is such a cute neighborhood spot! I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the area. The Matcha latte was so good that I grabbed one to go as well. The croissant Sando made me realize that I need more croissants in my life. Lol Thank you, Musette!
