Crema's Take

Via Delizia pulls off the rare trick of being a genuinely good Italian restaurant that also takes its coffee seriously, cramped into a dozen intimate tables in Pearl where you'll want to linger for hours. The kitchen nails both the classics—their meatballs and pasta are legitimately excellent—and the breakfast game, with standouts like the Sasha scramble featuring perfectly cooked salmon that actually tastes like something. Go for the full experience: espresso, pastry, and a proper meal in a space that feels like a European cafe transplanted to Portland.

What to expect

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast and light food on the menu.

The meatball was flavorful, though a little jarder than I like. My salmon salad was nice but slightly over cooked... probably because it was so thin, which made it chewy. My husland enjoyed his bolognese and my stepaon enjoyed his spaghetti. The service was excellent.
