Crema's Take

Lou's is a beloved Austin spot where the charm lies in the details: a dog-friendly patio, genuinely warm staff, and a menu that goes beyond typical coffee fare with standout burgers and pulled chicken sandwiches that keep locals and visitors equally enthusiastic. Whether you're ducking in for a quick caffeine hit or settling in for a leisurely meal with friends, the relaxed vibe and quality food make it feel less like a transaction and more like catching up with someone who actually cares. It's the kind of place that captures what makes Austin feel like home.

The ambience, the appreciation of dogs, the excellent food, and the friendliest Service ever. This is the first place I visited on the trip to Austin and if it’s a symbol of the city then I’m sold. Definitely go here. Great gluten-free options and just excellent food and location. There’s an awesome guy would be fun here who was super helpful!!! Actually, everyone there was just incredibly kind and wonderful so it’s worth mentioning all of them

Great place to grab a bite. Friendly staff, relaxed environment. Known for their chicken. Order off the menu at the window then grab a seat. There is a small outdoor area in front with seating or a much larger seating area in the back. Ample parking but the parking area is small. Definitely will go back again.

Awesome burgers, shakes, and margs. The avocado jalapeño and green chile burgers were delicious. Chocolate shake was yummy too.

This place is delicious! In Austin for the weekend and I highly recommend stopping by when you're in town. If I was a local I'd be here all the time! The pulled chicken sandwich was excellent especially with the addition of jalapeno, bacon and avocado! Rotisserie Cobb salad was fantastic will probably try to recreate that once I get home.

One of the best burger places in Austin Texas hands down. It also has nice service, clean set up and a great atmosphere for chilling with lots of space. Also it has more to offer than just burgers. The food is amazing.
