Grit and Grind Coffee Utah
3400 S Washington Fields Rd, St. George, UT
Crema's Take
“Grit and Grind is a St. George standout where espresso excellence meets genuinely creative seasonal offerings that go way beyond the standard menu—think pumpkin roll lattes and blood moon specials crafted with real care. The baristas here actually listen and help you find your drink, whether you're a regular stopping in after hot air ballooning or just passing through on New Year's Day, and the pastries and burritos deserve just as much attention as the coffee itself.”

We were passing through from out of state on New Year’s Day. Amazing coffee and service. I didn’t get to explore anywhere else due to being on a time crunch. I didn’t know what to order, because we typically just get the same thing over and over again at our coffee place back home. The girl working was super sweet & helpful. We ended up ordering a dark chocolate americano with cream - which ended up being the favorite among both of us. I got their holiday tree frappe and a bagel with cinnamon cream cheese. Honestly, wish my pregnant butt got 2 more. 😅 Will definitely be making this a spot to stop at every time. Hopefully I can catch their burger spot next time too. The only thing I can complain about is there was no clear sign for a restroom - the girl said they had one, but I probably missed it due to being tired. 😂
The best coffee!! After flying Hot air balloon balloons we always stop in and grab a coffee. I usually get a caramel macchiato with an extra shot. They also have a drink I think it’s called the Good Witch. But it is a Red Bull base with caramel and green apple. It’s really really good. At any rate, I like to start my morning with a cup of grit and grind.
Lovely barista and delicious coffee! I got one of the pumpkin roll coffees less sweet and it was perfect! My partner went for the pecan pie and thought it was delicious!
Beautiful location and such friendly baristas! The coffee is the best I’ve had in St. George, with the biggest and most creative seasonal menu of any shop I’ve been to. The burritos are unreal. Honestly the best I’ve ever had. Definitely our new go to spot whenever we’re in town.
Stopped by for a cool drink while we waited for the pumpkin farm to open. Athena was super friendly and helpful in helping us make our order. I got the Blood Moon - which was the perfect balance of delicious and spooky 🕷 Their menu has so many delicious sounding drinks I'll definitely be coming back to try more!
