Crema's Take
“This beloved Decatur brunch spot excels at the full breakfast experience, with generous portions of house-made pastries, French toast, and creative builds-your-own bowls that feel special without pretension. The real magic is in the hospitality—staff manage the predictable Sunday crowds with genuine warmth, and they've clearly mastered the art of the comfortable wait, making solo coffee drinkers and large families alike feel equally welcome in a space built for lingering.”

Great place for a breakfast/brunch. They have a large variety of options from waffles and pancakes to scrambled and wraps. All the portions are substantial and enough to share, if you are not a big eater. I had a chai latte and Joe's healthy scramble. It was 3 eggs with chicken sausage and way too much so I did not eat the fruit or English muffin. The Santa fe wrap with potatoes was large and could be shared. The prices were $15-$17, but you do get a lot of food. The only negative was the take out. We ordered a berry oatmeal bowl to go, and the portion was tiny and there were only 7 blueberries and one strawberry half. The oatmeal was bland and it doesn't come with any syrup or brown sugar t9 add to it so it was just flat and disappointing. I'm sure if it was served in-house the portion would have been better and the flavor could have been kicked up so I dont recommend take out.
Visited on a busy Sunday. I loved that there was a wait in line link so when we arrived, we only had about 10 mins to wait for a table of 5. The manager and staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered the build your own skillet and that was delicious. I love that they offer turkey bacon and chicken sausage. They also offered egg whites. There is an extensive coffee menu and so many options for kids. The food came out in a reasonable time and all orders were accurw. Our server, Aaron, was on top of everything that we needed. We would definitely come again. You need to find street parking but it was easy enough. They had gluten free menus as well.
Very special brunch and every meal was great. Coffee ☕️, Mint Tea🫖, and fresh OJ delicious. Bilt your own food was very nice. The Caprece Avocado Tost🥑 and the French toast 🧇 and the pancakes 🥞 were all DELICIOUS. The staff very attentive and friendly. Recommend 💯
Egg Harbor Café – Brunch Goals with a Side of Patience She: “Chicken & waffles, loaded potatoes, and fried green tomatoes with a chai tea latte? Brunch heaven. Every bite was delicious.” He: “That lobster omelette and fresh mixed berries had me feeling fancy. Paired with a caramel macchiato? Chef’s kiss.” She: “Only downside? The 20-minute wait for the food. I was ready to eat my napkin.” He: “True, but once the plates landed, it was game over. Totally worth it.” Together: Cozy vibes, friendly staff, and food that delivers. If the kitchen speeds up, Egg Harbor would be a straight 5-star brunch gem in Decatur.
We were in the area for doctor’s appointment at Emory Hospital and decided to stop at Egg Harbor Cafe for breakfast. When we arrived, the staff seated us immediately and took our drink orders. We ordered a coffee which was served with a small carafe of cream and a cappuccino with oat milk. The coffee was hot, and the cappuccino was excellent . Then, we ordered the healthy omelette, French toast with soft scrambled eggs and a traditional breakfast which included two over medium eggs, hash-browns, maple bacon, and a short stack of pancakes. In all honesty, the food was just meh. The healthy omelette was delicious and the French toast was a bit dry. We ordered soft scrambled eggs and when they arrived they were very hard scrambled. We made the server aware and when they finally brought out the soft scrambled eggs, it was time to leave. I’m a big stickler for a very hot food when it’s supposed to be hot and the pancakes were lukewarm to almost cold; however , did have a good taste. The over medium eggs were done well, and the hash-browns were small cut up squares of potatoes with no additions. The maple bacon was a bit sweet, I missed some of salt balance. Be aware that the parking for this restaurant is located behind the restaurant . And it does have a cost if you don’t find parking on the street.
