Well priced coffee on campus, good range of tastes/options. Nowhere to really sit inside and fairly crowded, but great for a quick pick me up.

Love MeanTime, a safe haven for UNC students :) No cold brew though. So just drip iced coffee which isn’t that strong- a bit bland. Their espresso is not the highest quality. Their matcha has sugar pre-added, so it is not great either nor genuine matcha. Wouldn’t recommend it. Have some vegan food options

Quite a busy on-campus coffee shop. Usually an amazingly long line. ~5-6 $ coffee. Tons of flavours and varieties. Macchiato, espresso, latte… great options. Some seating upstairs. More of a to-go spot. Student run. It’s pretty good. It’s nice that it is on-campus. It is a non-profit, living wage, etc. I think the coffee price could be reduced more in line with serving tn student audience. In any case it’s a cute part of campus! Operational efficiency != strong suit.

EDIT: 2024 Still have reasonable prices, I've just noticed that the espresso drinks have become very inconsistent. Sometimes its fine other times it can be difficult to finish the drink. The espresso is very bitter and even with milk in it you can taste the bitterness. I wonder if maybe there is some inconsistency with how the espresso is prepared. For reference, I'm pretty tolerant of coffee. I'll even drink airplane coffee, so I'm not very picky. I really hope Meantime can fix this soon. My favorite place for a cappuccino and is cheaper than Starbucks and the Stone and Leaf Cafe! They also don't upcharge for plant-based milks. The butterfly pea latte is stunning. Definitely something that should be tried at least once. Everyone there is very friendly and polite. They have a bring your own mug program whereas once you get 10 drinks using your reusable mug you get a drink free.

Nice strong' ☕️ in a real ceramic cup. Great library lgbtqi++, people of color, etc. Educational materials to help teach children about white oppression. Me being an old Caucasian male, got the eye from the occupants. Still I escaped with no resistance ;).
