Barista Alley - Trade St
101 Trade St, Greer, SC
Crema's Take
“Tucked into downtown Greer's charming Trade Street, this espresso-focused spot has earned its stellar reputation as the neighborhood's go-to for quality coffee and a genuinely cozy workspace. The team clearly cares about both their craft—pulling consistently smooth, well-balanced shots—and their community, creating an energetic atmosphere that feels equally welcoming whether you're settling in for hours of focused work or grabbing a specialty drink like their housemade syrups and matcha tea. With a solid menu of pastries and light fare alongside their thoughtful beverage program, it's the kind of place that makes you wonder why it took you so long to discover it.”

This place was so nice, it’s a very cozy aesthetic nice for doing work. I got a strawberry matcha, it wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst, it was good enough to finish. I did notice that they leave their matcha container open. But over all I did enjoy my experience here.
It took us over 2 years of living here to FINALLY make it over and it was absolutely worth the wait! The staff were nice and trying quickly to keep everyone happy with the unexpected business that came. We came from the Farmer’s Market after it got ruined with the rain. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return.
Stopped by Barista Alley while in downtown Greer and really enjoyed the coffee. The drink was well made, smooth, and clearly made with quality beans. The location is excellent, especially if you’re walking around downtown or looking for a place to grab a coffee and relax for a bit. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. Service wasn’t especially friendly or engaging, but it was efficient and the coffee itself made the stop worthwhile. Overall, a good place for solid coffee in a great spot.
It’s super busy so waited a little for the drink but the atmosphere is super fun and nice. Great place to come and study both the cappuccino and chai tea was really good and they have all home made syrups.
I didn't have food but the cappuccino is top tier. It was my first visit, but won't be my last. It's in a neat location too. Neat place. I recommend.
