MeLatte Coffee Shop

Absolutely great neighborhood coffee shop and small business! Had the cafe con leche and chicken tinga empanada and both were legitimately extremely good and worth a visit in themselves. The shop is small and probably easiest to grab and go, but even after a 10 minute walk the empanada dough was still SO light and flaky… the filling was generous and very flavorful. They baked the empanada to go so it took ~5 minutes to wait after ordering, factor that in if you are in a rush. Cafe con leche was hot, flavorful and sweet with steamed milk making it nice and light. Was a really nice treat for the walk home on a cold day. Will definitely be back to try an espresso drink and the guava and cheese croissant (looks like a danish), but feels very much like a neighborhood hidden gem.

I LOVEEE this coffee shop! Great coffee, incredible food, adorable atmosphere, and kind ownership! Luz and Jorge are absolute gems and have created an inviting and warm environment all the while maintaining a HIGH level of quality and service. I will always come back :)

I’m not even a local, but this is a delightful place to eat. Just stopped at this place, thankfully randomly on my way home. It’s a small but adorable place. The staff are friendly as all heck and they make their own vanilla from scratch! I got their bacon, egg and cheese croissant and it was a simple sandwich yet so delicious, you really could taste the tenderness and care in the sandwich. It’s also cheap! Def try it out if you have a chance!

Super cute, peaceful atmosphere! Very friendly staff. Fresh food made right in front of you. Staff got everything to us quickly and everything was made right. The Nutella latte and BEC Croissant was really good!

Incredibly cozy small neighborhood coffee shop servicing quality coffee, pastries, and empanadas. Owners were very friendly, even offered to top my cup off on the way out! We got a pair of empanadas as well, both were very good with a nice flakey crust. Seating is pretty tight and they do ask folks to limit their time at the bigger tables. Absolutely worth going out of your way for this one.
