Crema's Take
“Fresh Flours is a neighborhood gem that takes its pastries seriously, with daily fresh-baked goods from their White Centre bakery that elevate the typical coffee shop experience—think perfectly caramelized kouign-amann and buttery croissants that justify a special trip. The cafe strikes that rare balance between a quick-grab spot for your morning coffee and a genuinely inviting place to linger, with cozy indoor seating, charming outdoor space, and a staff that makes everyone feel genuinely welcome from early morning onward.”

This place is amazing!!! Just a short walk from Dexter Ave N and Valley St., this place has fresh baked food daily from their White Centre bakery. The staff provide a kind and welcoming atmosphere, and quick service for those making a quick stop. Ordered two pastries, a medium mocha, and tip for about $20.
I like ordering online for pick up and when I go to the office, I stop by and grab the pastries! They always have a great assortment of pastries, and their coffee is also pretty good. The space inside is a bit small and it can get quite cramped in the morning rush, so not sure if I’d ever sit in. But definitely recommend stopping by for the pastries and coffee
I stopped in early on a Friday morning and had the most incredible kouign-amann of all time. The caramelization really put it over the top. If you’re a croissant fan and ready to step up your game I highly recommend. The service was friendly and fast… no complaints! I’ll be back!!
This would be my go to cafe if I lived here! Service is on point and it has a cute cafe vibe inside and out. There is outdoors seating, high top window seating, a couple tables with chairs, plus comfy cafe seating. They have a few grab and go vegan options, too, if you want or need that. There are 4 locations but this one in SLU is in the heart of the tech district near Amazon and Google. The pastries were awesome! Coffee was stellar and roasted by ANOTHER small and local place. And while this location is in a busy area, it's tucked away on a smaller street so it is not terribly noisy. Can't wait to go back!
Loved my hazelnut latte and almond croissant —all the pastries look mouth drooling. However, that pesto mozzarella sandwich I took for my lunch.. was very sorry looking. I mean, the sandwich feels like time and effort both called in sick.. I ended up jazzing it up when I got home. I’ve had better sandwiches from a gas station at half the cost. Not sure if they’re made in house or delivered. I wasn’t looking for gourmet, but a little emphasis woulda been nice.
