Nice local place in Mesilla NM... The food Is delicious, the atmosfera Is quiet and Nice, has a little gift shop with very nice stuff.
I cant believe I’ve waited so long to try this delightful spot out! As a local, I’ll admit to being a bit snobbish over my New Mexican food & where I eat- I typically don’t stray from my tried & true favorites but I’ve always been curious about cafe de mesilla and I’m so happy I gave it a chance. I got huevos rancheros rojo, the red chile was flavorful with a good amount of spice- and if your local you know how challenging finding superb red chile is! I also decided to have a pancake on the side; the pancake was light, fluffy & served with some great berry compote. Besides the great grub the atmosphere is also wonderful, the owner was kind & attentive, & they definitely scored points having local art as well. Safe to say I’ll be returning
Café de Mesilla is a charming local gem with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. Whether you're stopping in for a latte and pastry or sitting down for a full meal, the flavors are fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the cozy southwestern decor adds to the overall experience. It's a perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a quiet morning surrounded by beautiful art.
Cute little bistro in Mesilla. Friendly staff fair prices and good food I had breakfast which was nice and the pancakes were nice and fluffy. I do have to say that it bugged me a bit that there were a couple tables of very loud people which I found very annoying, no fault of management here I don’t think but it did detract from my otherwise great breakfast.
10 years ago we stopped by for breakfast and it was charming and delicious. Today we celebrated my granddaughter's 9th birthday. She wanted a tea party with a few of her friends. The owner very kindly set it up for us and all enjoyed it very much.
