Absolutely loved the drink options (got a seasonal rose London fog) and the vegan loaf and banana bread (not vegan) were delicious. Staff are always friendly, the music is calm and the atmosphere is so cozy.

First visit today and I absolutely loved the mocha! The staff was warm and welcoming, and they crafted excellent drinks. This spot is definitely becoming one of my new regulars.

Matta Café Bar has become one of my favorite spots in NW. The atmosphere is warm and thoughtfully designed — cozy without feeling crowded, elevated but still relaxed. I love coming here to sit and get some work done or meet a friend to catch up. It’s the kind of place where you can actually stay awhile. The ownership is genuinely so kind & welcoming, and you can feel the care behind the space. Their matcha is consistently excellent — smooth, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. And the empanadas are always SO good. Such a solid neighborhood staple.

The place itself is cute, but the drink I got tasted like cereal milk. When I asked the barista if they had sugar free flavors, she made me feel bad and said, “they’re packed way in the back” so I just got regular. The baristas were overworked with how busy it was but those options should be more readily available. The drinks we got were not delicious. They were underwhelming, expensive, and took far too long to get after ordering. I will unfortunately not be back.

Such a gorgeous spot! 🌿✨ The whole place feels like stepping into a cozy nature retreat. The plants, the sunlight, the vibe- so calming and so pretty! And the coffee? Absolutely delicious. ☕️💕 Already excited to come back!
