Love this cafe in downtown Jersey City! A great place to go for the best masala chai and onion puff!

Their coffee and food is so good that I’m addicted and it’s no good for my pocket 😭 But in seriousness - despite all the unthinkable coffee/chai experimentation the final product is absolutely delicious. And so are the sandwiches, bagels, and bakery items. The drinks usually run sweet so I go for minimum sweetness. My fav - chicken tikka sandwich, almond croissant, the Taro drink, seasonal rose chai latte, and the New Orleans brew 🤤

Their new Coconut Matcha is honestly to die for! So smooth and delicious, I suggest adding 1 pump of their organic coconut syrup to make it even more perfect. I also recently tried their Bombay Bagel Sandwich and it must be my favorite thing from now on, definitely overshadowed their already delicious Salmon Bagel Sandwich! 100/10 recommend⭐️

5 stars Hidden Grounds Coffee on Newark Ave is an absolute gem in JC. The location is fantastic for a leisurely walk and immediately impresses with its bright, welcoming, and fun atmosphere. I’ve had the pleasure of trying their Salted Caramel Brew, which was nothing short of superb, and their Orleans style brew was equally delightful. Every roast is perfectly balanced—never burnt or watery—and the service is always speedy. Their unique donut selection is a must-try and makes for the perfect treat when the winter ends. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an exceptional coffee experience in Jersey City!
